Our Service To You

A Professional Home Inspection

A home inspector is your first tool when it comes to making important decisions about a home investment. Whether you are buying or selling, a professional home inspection will provide you with critical and timely information that you can use. When you're ready to buy, you want to know that the home you are considering is a safe and sound investment. You want to avoid any unwelcomed and costly surprises. When you are selling your home, you will need to make full disclosure of any and all known deficiencies. You'll want to know what, if any, repairs to make so you can market your home most effectively. Whichever side of the "For Sale" sign you're on, a quality home inspection is must have.

Your Inspection

With Addison Home Inspections you will have a licensed and insured home inspector conduct all of your inspection needs, promptly and professionally. Your home inspection will follow the guidelines set by the IRC (International Residential Code) and the ICC (International Code Council). All major systems of the home are included in our home inspection. Our home inspection service includes a visual inspection of the structural elements and systems which are accessible.

This typically includes:

  • Grounds
  • Exterior Walls
  • Gutters and Downspouts
  • Garage
  • Roof and Attic
  • Foundation and Framing
  • Heating and Cooling System
  • Plumbing
  • Ventilation and Insulation
  • Electrical System
  • Ceilings, Walls, and Floors
  • Windows and Doors
  • Kitchen and Bathrooms
  • Laundry Area
  • Chimney and Fireplaces

The Report

Once your inspection is completed and payment has been honored, you will receive your detailed inspection report. Your report will cover all of our finds and concerns using both pictures and detailed descriptions of our finds. In addition, we will let you know if it is a safety issue, major defect, or a simple maintenance repair.
